Two Kirkland Pedestrians Hit by Car While Crossing the Street | Seattle Pedestrian Injury Lawyer
On Wednesday afternoon a girl and her toddler sister were crossing the street at the12600 block of 100th Avenue North East in Kirkland. The two pedestrians were crossing eastbound in the crosswalk. The problem was, as is the case in many crosswalk incidents, that they crossed after the first lane of the traffic had come to a complete stop while the traffic in the second lane did not do the same. An SUV in the second lane failed to stop and hit the two young girls. Any time a car, truck, or SUV hits a pedestrian it is scary, but when it is a child, or children that are hit by the car, it is even scarier.
