Two Young Men Killed in Lynnwood, Washington Auto Accident | Washington Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Lawyer

Brandon Norton made the responsible choice. He chose to be the designated driver for his friends in Lynnwood on Friday November 16th. After already taking one car full of friends home from a party, Ehlo Blacknall, 20, Tyler Gilbert, 20, and Trevor Moore, 21, got in Brandon’s car for the second trip. Brandon’s car was going northbound on North Road in unincorporated Snohomish County a little after 2 a.m. Saturday when they veered off the road and crashed into a tree.

Brandon and Ehlo died instantly. Tyler Gilbert and Trevor Moore were immediately rushed to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries. Gilbert was released and allowed to return home on Sunday. Moore remains in serious condition.

This is a sad and tragic accident that prematurely took the lives of two young individuals. Near the place of the crash, there is already a memorial of flowers, balloons, a cross and candles being formed by the friends and families of the victims.

After investigation, police determined that the car was speeding when it lost control. Excessive speed, plus the stormy and wet Washington weather is a risky combination that should be avoided at all costs.

We want to thank the responsible and caring individuals like Brandon Norton who choose to be a designated driver. Being a designated driver is a service to everyone in the community. It is a way of doing your part to keep impaired drivers off the road. However, it is important that even when we are doing this service, we must never drive too fast for the conditions. Always drive safely.

Lynnwood lost two young men this weekend. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends of all involved and we hope the two injured victims make a full recovery.

“I was reffered to Jason Epstein, with high regard, from a coworker after an auto accident. All my stress was put to rest after my first meeting with Jason when he told me not to worry about anything but getting healed up and to let him handle the rest…” ~ Justin T., Federal Way, Washington
