Witnesses Stop Hit-and-Run Driver in Washington Car Accident | Seattle Car Crash Lawyer

As a Seattle car accident attorney, it is comforting to know that drivers are watching out for each other on the roads. Just this week, several witnesses managed to stop a reckless driver from fleeing the scene of a terrible Washington car accident. The incident occurred Tuesday afternoon in Baring, Washington.

John L. Milke, 54, was traveling eastbound on Highway 2 when he attempted to pass the vehicle ahead. Instead, he crashed into the car, causing it to rollover several times.

Three of the occupants were taken to Valley General Hospital with serious personal injuries. There is yet no word on their current condition.

After the collision, Milke tried to flee the scene. However, several witnesses chased him down until his car died. They then managed to hold him down until officers arrived.

He has been booked in jail for the Tuesday crash and is currently under investigation for driving under the influence.
