According to a recent study conducted by the Pew Research Center’s Internet and American Life Project, the average teen sends more than 50 texts a day. And, a shocking one third of teens send more than 100 text messages a day. With 74% of teens owning cell phones, texting is becoming the preferred form of communication. Unfortunately, cell phones are responsible for causing numerous auto accidents. According to AAA, drivers who text are 23 times more likely to get in car accidents. |
